 My name is Ludivinia Brock. This book is my life’s story. It begins with my arrival in Hong Kong in 1971. Once I graduated nursing school, I grabbed my packed bags and embarked on the adventure of a lifetime. It was a curse, she’d died the night before I arrived, and a blessing in the form of a tiny, unresponsive Chinese girl who stole my heart. My journals helped me fill in dates and blanks encountered on this journey. I hope you enjoy this book.
