Ghosts on Ratchet Mountain

In 1973, folks around Delilah, Georgia experienced a spate of deaths from carbon monoxide poisoning. Dr. Jeremiah Henderson, MD and county coroner investigates the incidents, with help from his friend and mechanic, Henry Phipps. What they suspect leads them to the new muffler shop down in Athens. Strangely, a few of the customers also owned land the new police chief wants to buy, on Ratchet Mountain. When they discover the familial connection, no one is safe from the long reach of the law…

Ludivinia

My name is Ludivinia Brock. This book is my life’s story. It begins with my arrival in Hong Kong in 1971. Once I graduated nursing school, I grabbed my packed bags and embarked on the adventure of a lifetime. It was a curse, she’d died the night before I arrived, and a blessing in the form of a tiny, unresponsive Chinese girl who stole my heart. My journals helped me fill in dates and blanks encountered on this journey. I hope you enjoy this book.
